About Boyd Monk

Boyd Monk is a sixth-generation Paulding Countian and a respected leader in Northwest Georgia real estate.  As a member of the LOCAL Realty team, Boyd brings more than a decade of top-performing experience and a deep-rooted commitment to community growth and service.

Driven by his belief that real estate is both a business and a calling, Boyd has built his career on relationships, integrity, and an unwavering passion for helping others find their place to call home. His philosophy is simple: Live Local. Love Local.

Beyond real estate, Boyd is an active civic leader throughout the region. He is a Founding Member and President of the Dallas Police Foundation, serves as a Board Member of the Museum of Flight, and serves on the board  for the Paulding Public Safety Appreciation as well as CareLink of Northwest Georgia.  His past service includes roles as a Director of the Board for the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, Charter President of the Paulding Kiwanis Club, Vice President of the Dallas Merchants Association, and as an Ambassador for Wellspring Living and United Way as part of the Paulding United Way Advisory Board.

Boyd’s impact has been recognized through multiple honors, including the Paulding Chamber of Commerce Horizon Award (2020) and the Downtown Dallas “Community Builder” Award (2024).

When he’s not serving clients or his community, Boyd can be found at home in Downtown Dallas with his partner, Lee, and their three dogs — Luci, Cash, and June. He’s proud to continue his family’s multi-generational legacy of entrepreneurship and public service in Paulding County, where the Monk, Carruth, Ferguson, Dabbs,  Craton, and Foster families have lived and worked since the county’s founding in 1832.
